Okanagan wine lovers will have lots to do over the next week and a half.
The 14th Annual Okanagan Spring Wine Festival is taking place from May 1 to 10 across Okanagan Wine Country.
Gary Reynolds, owner of Lake Breeze Vineyards and president of the Okanagan Wine Festivals Society, says more than 80 events are planned for this year’s festival.
“The Society has expanded its wine education seminars this year to complement the expansion of the Spring Wine Festival to 10 days. From Sunday, May 4 through Thursday, May 8, we will offer five uniquely Okanagan wine education seminars that cover the gamut of pairing wines with coffee, chocolate, cheese and an innovative battle of the sexes blind tasting,” says Reynolds.
He says the various events include wine tasting with different food and drinks such as coffee, chocolate and cheese.
Tickets for the individual tastings are available through the Ticketmaster website and range between $40 and $50.
