Kelowna housing leads BC

House prices in the Kelowna area have remained among the strongest in BC throughout the past year.

New statistics from Century 21 show price increases here ranged from 12 percent to $423,500 for a bi-level in Rutland to 15 percent to $699,000 for a bungalow in the upper Mission.

Price increases in Castlegar were even better than Kelowna up 16 to 18 percent with a bungalow in the rural area near the city price at $259,900.
