Vernon 7-11 robbed at knife-point

Police were called to a robbery at the 7-11 in the 3100 block of 27th Street in Vernon at around 1:00 AM, the morning of Tuesday, May 6th.
Gordon Molendyk of the Vernon RCMP, says a man wielding a large knife entered the store with a female accomplice. The man jumped the counter and took cash and numerous cartons of cigarettes.
“Employees said the suspect was in his 20's, around 5'10 to 6' tall and was wearing a maroon hoodie, blue jeans, and white shoes,” Molendyk says. “He had a Grey shirt over his face. They said the girl had darker skin and was wearing a black hoodie with a white face or skull on the front, blue jeans with a white belt, and was wearing light blue runners.”
People who worked at the store indicated there may have been a third person waiting near the door.
The police are asking anyone with any information about this robbery to contact them or call Crime Stoppers.
