Update 4 p.m. Both the girl and truck have been located and are being returned to the parents.

RCMP in Salmon Arm are looking for the public's help in locating a missing emotionally disturbed 14-year-old girl.

Police says Jesykja Cooper left her home in Canoe Thursday without extra clothing or access to money.

"She is described as 5'7", 110 pounds with strawberry tinted hair," says Corporal Len Laseur.

"A white 2004 Ford F350 truck is missing from her home as well and is considered stolen by her."

Leseur says the family recently moved to Canoe from Kamloops.

Police ask anyone with information to contact RCMP immediately.
