An Oliver couple has lost everything after a fire.

Fire broke out in a mobile home just south of Oliver on 336th Avenue just after 4 a.m. Saturday.

Oliver fire chief, Dave Janzen, says the couple lost everything they own.

“They were able to get out of the residence very quickly and weren’t injured, but the mobile home is a complete write-off,” says Janzen.

He says the investigation is still underway, but it looks like the fire was started accidentally in the kitchen.

Janzen says the couple does not have insurance.
