A grow op has been found near a Westside elementary school.

On June 30, police raided a home on Peak Point Court near Rose Valley Elementary School.

Inside was an extensive marijuana grow operation.

"We located a sophisticated grow operation containing approximately 600 mature marijuana plants that were ready for harvesting," says Corporal A. Brinnen.

Brinnen says the investigation is ongoing and police expect to forward criminal charges to Crown Counsel soon.
