Two Penticton men have been arrested after stealing a car last month.
Back on Aug 7, some visitors from Alberta left their 1993 white Mercury Topaz outside of Tim Horton's on Skaha lake Road running with the A/C on for their dog that was in the car.
While inside, someone drove off with their car. The dog and some belongings were left behind.
The car was later recovered by Kelowna RCMP and two Penticton males were arrested.
Several people were near the car and concerned about the small Husky dog in the car prior to the theft.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the actual theft of the vehicle to call the Penticton RCMP.
