A late night car crash in Kelowna has sent two people to hospital with serious injuries.

A vehicle was travelling in the 3300 block of Lakeshore Drive just after 11 p.m. Friday.

Staff Sergeant R. Reuter says the driver lost control and crashed into a power pole.

“The vehicle then vaulted on top of an unoccupied vehicle which had been parked in front of a restaurant. There were two men in the vehicle and both were ejected. Both occupants were taken to KGH with serious injuries,” says Reuter.

He says the cause is still being investigated.
