The Okanagan Symphony & Music Director Rosemary Thomson presents - THE RUSSIANS ARE COMING Colour and passion explode on stage in our season-ending performance. Pianist Michael Kim returns to our stage offering a performance par excellence of Rachmaninov’s spectacular Third Concerto. This concerto, featured in the movie “Shine”, is the pinnacle of virtuosity for pianists, and is also a piece of great human struggle and achievement. Tchaikovsky’s Fourth Symphony moves us from the depths of despair through to the promise of hope.
