The next Kelowna meeting of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Okanagan Centre will be on Tues May 27th at Okanagan College, room C368 in the Lab building.
Okanagan Centre members will participate in a group workshop on the topic of "Astronomy Appreciation". Many aspects of the diverse range of opportunities, rewards and support available to amateur astronomers will be discussed. Learn about observing techniques, educational resources and life style adjustments that can help you take full advantage of the many riches astronomy has to offer. Come out and share this journey of exploration and education as members illuminate and validate the many facets of "Astronomy Appreciation". Guests welcome.
