The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Okanagan Centre will be celebrating International Astronomy Day 2008 in conjunction with the City of Kelowna's Life & Arts Festival.
May 10th from 5:00 PM - 10:30 pm we will be part of IlluminArts, an evening event featuring displays of glowing lanterns, light sculptures and live performances. Okanagan Centre members will have telescopes looking at the Sun, Moon and Saturn as well as information about the club and the public Okanagan Observatory now underway. |
