Nationally renowned, British Columbia painter, Christine Reimer, will be exhibiting 20 new works in a one-person feature at the Tutt Art Galleries. The artist will be in attendance opening day (May 24), and it is free and open to the public.
A professional artist for more than twenty-five years, Christine Reimer is an established British Columbia painter recognized for her bold, colourful interpretation of Canadian landscape. Reimer’s portrayal of the Pacific Coast and the lush vineyards and orchards of the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, California Wine Country, Tuscany and Provence, are renowned for their vivid colors and bold, high-impact presentation. “Colour, movement and light are vital elements in my paintings. I begin with a fairly defined composition; the image evolves as I paint. Colour takes on a life of its own and the character of the landscape is revealed.
